For those of you that are looking for training in TTA, TPLO, THR, or rigid endoscopy, please feel free to call or send an email for an estimate. Prices are better than you might think to get the training in house. Also, if you are in the market to buy equipment, it is possible to get the training paid for by some of the distributors of the equipment.
Mayo Veterinary Services is a "one-man" operation. When I sold my hospital in 2006, I wanted to take some time off and rest, but the phone kept ringing off the hook. Between requests to lecture, teach, and perform difficult cases, I have been busier than ever. So just what does MVS provide?
For the Veterinarian:
(1) On-site training and demonstration of cases in TTA, TPLO, THR, fracture repair using multiple methods
(2) On-site training and demonstration of cases using rigid endoscopy; laparoscopy, endourology, reproductive, rhinoscopy, and surgical procedures
(3) On-site training and deomnstration of cases using lateral suture techniques, including bone-tunneling and use of isometric points
(4) Case consultations involving the above mentioned topics
For the Pet Owner:
(1) Consultations on your surgical cases that would directly involve any of the methods listed above for a fee.
(2) Review of orthopedic radiographs (digital, email, or "snail-mail") for a fee.
(3) Your vet can hire me to consult on or perform surgery for your pet in his/her clinic (call for details)
(4) I can perform surgery on your pet if you wish; I have limited use of some clinics in the Seattle area and southern California. For other locations in the US, please call or email for more detailed information.
